1994 - All Storms End
Newspapers
Using the New York Times as a singular example, it is easy to see how much interest this issue still had with the mainstream press. A story was covered to be certain, but as details in the trial came out, the case looked weaker and weaker. Much more interest was paid to individuals like Kevin Wacholz, the only wrestler that said McMahon directly instructed him to use steroids. His credibility was not much discussed in the mainstream press even after he indicated under oath that he "hated" Vince McMahon.
An example from a different newspaper was used for the announcement of Mcmahon's acquittal. A couple of paragraphs as part of a column of stories.
Newsletters
Both the editors of the Torch and the Observer, Wade Keller and Dave Meltzer respectively, attended the entire trial. This allowed them to cover in depth the witnesses and to examine the work done by both the prosecution and the defense.
It also allowed them time to examine the work of their fellow journalists, and to gain a better sense of how their particular field was viewed.
