Wendy Martinez is killed while jogging in Washington D.C. She is stabbed multiple times and staggers into a restraunt for help where she dies. Wendy is a 35 year old women who had just recently become engaged.

Wendy was out for a jog on September 8 when she was stabbed multiple times by a stranger. While she was able to stagger to a restraunt for help she did not make it. Wendy was working towards her qualifiers for the Boston Marathon and had just gotten engaged to her fiance.
While true that Wendy did not disappear as Mollie had, it still took a week for the police to produce a suspect. There were not the same number of sotries about this women, there was not the same amount of outcry when her murderer was shown to be a mentally unstable black man. In fact there was vary little on conservative sites for this murder.
