Many COVID-19 Mutual Aid efforts have centered on food and supply distribution as a natural response to the shortages in many stores in the early days of the pandemic coupled with the need to quarantine, particularly for the elderly, immunocompromised, or other at-risk groups. Some of these programs include weekly grocery delivery, mask making and distribution, community fridges, and hot meals. Additionally, mutual aid practice has looked like child care collectives, medical assistance, and direct action (detailed on another page), to name only a few examples. The items on this page illustrate these efforts in action.
